Zinc Plating
Zinc electroplating or just zinc plating to the many is used widely to protect mild steel components from atmospheric corrosion or rusting. It can be applied to large and small components such as fastenings, pressings, forgings, welded and extruded fabrications.
Although there are many other specialised electroplating processes including nickel and chrome, tin and cadmium, zinc plating is the most suitable and economic way of applying a metallic protective coating which will extend the working life of the component and can also be used as a base prior to painting or powder coating.
We are able to offer a 24 hr turnaround on many urgent orders subject to quantity and are able to offer a 48 hr standard turnaround to many of our customers large and small.
